Buy Me a Pie! Classic - Grocery Shopping List App Reviews

112 add

Great for our family

We use this app all the time, and it makes it easier for either of us to get the whole list taken care of at the store. Sometimes it gets updated while were out... Which can add time to the trip- but its a lot better than taking more trips ;-)

What The Hell?!?!?!

The devs purposely reverted the screen resolution from the proper 16:9 aspect of the iPhone 5 & 6 ratio back to the old iPhone 4 aspect ratio!!! I paid for this app and theyre purposely downgrading this app so that youll upgrade and buy their other app thats 10x as expensive at $24.99! I cannot believe their gall!!! Do not support Skript!

Tired of nagging

Did you just revert back to 3.5 inch screen resolution??? Are you kidding me? Hope its a bug. No one in their right mind would downgrade their old apps on purpose to force people to buy their new version. Its time for me to find a new shopping list app.

Use it everywhere

Love this app

Ads?

I upgraded from the free version of this app, because I found it so useful and to get rid of the ads. It worked for a while, but now the lists have "suggested items" to buy at the bottom of the list - ADS!

Great before the last update!

Why did they put in adds! I have loved this app. I purchased it because I use it so much. But with the last update they have added adds to each of my lists! I will have to delete this app if the adds remain. The adds go or I do!

I used to really love this app

I used it every time I went shopping. Using the colors you can put the list in order according to how your grocery store is laid out. It remembers your favorite items. It was great. Now it is adding "suggested" items to the bottom of my list. I could sort of understand suggestions based on my shopping habits. This is not that. It is advertising. The suggested items are disgusting garbage that I would never ever buy. It is strategically placed so that I could very easily hit it by mistake. That makes the app totally impractical and virtually impossible to use. What I once loved, I now hate. I wish I could give it zero stars because that is what it now deserves.

Simple and straight forward

This app is clear and concise. It organizes food by categories and crosses the items off the list with one touch. Sometimes less is more!!

Ads in the paid version,

Ads. I have the paid version, and now there are ads. Not happy with that AT ALL. Why would I have to pay for ads or "suggested" items. Very upset. I plan to use a different shopping app if this isnt corrected.

Great

Easy To use, only downfall is that switching between lists is not very convenient. And must upgrade to paid version for multiple list. Otherwise very intuitive.

Great app

This is a handy app. Easy to use - helps make grocery shopping a bit less stressful!

Saves me time & money!!!

Keeps me from having to go back for the.....what ever thing I forgot!!!

Good App

Easy to use. But with the paid app why am I subjected to ads? That takes away from the heretofore satisfaction and overall utility of a flexible and useful app.

Dont Upgrade!

This was a great app until the latest upgrade. Ads were added to paid version. Also It wont let you write a bad review it wont let you post it. So annoying.

Only one way to respond

The only way I can think of to respond to this outrage of adding ads in the purchased app is simply to refuse to buy anything that the new ads suggest. Im hoping that the program suggests the purchase of something I usually buy so that I can have the pleasure of striking it from the list and never buying it again. In the meantime, I think Ill create a separate "boycott" list so that I dont forget which companies have been complicit.

Ads. No good

Full of ads. No longer my list app. Bye!

Love it. My whole family uses it.

Love it. My whole family uses it.

Demand A Refund, Apple will Refund

Developer shouldve planned from the very first day they set out to begin coding for this app, 5 years ago. That plan most definitely shouldve included NOT screwing over those who used their hard earned money to support the developer for his/hers hard work on the app. When users decide to upgrade or pay for a premium version of an app, they are telling the developer they appreciate their hard work on a good application. In return, the developer provides the user with a premium version of their application that should clearly demonstrate a developers "appreciation and thanks" to the user. Thats just the way it is, honor is as honor does. Users whove chosen to pay for this developers opportunistic greed through the monthly cloud subscription are a new, younger generation who have no clue as to grace and consideration of the unspoken contract.

Ads on paid version?!

I have been using this app for several years and upgraded to the paid version to avoid the ads. I love the sync ability so when my husband and I are shopping together the list updates. With the newest update I now have "suggested" products! What?! The "suggested" product takes up the entire screen. I will no longer be using this app and am going to ask for s return for my purchase.

So helpful!

I no longer need to worry about wasting time going back and forth between the same isles because my lack of organization. It does it all for me!
